Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and IL-12 p70 present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Human IL-12 antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL-12 p70 bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.

We have not been able to detect endogenous Human IL-12 p70 in normal serum with ab100552, only in serum spiked with Human IL-12 p70.

Get results in 90 minutes with Human IL-12p40/p70 ELISA Kit (ab178009) from our SimpleStep ELISA® range.

Notes
Optimization may be required with urine samples

Platform
Microplate

Key features and details
Sensitivity: 1 pg/ml
Range: 0.8 pg/ml – 600 pg/ml
Sample type: Cell culture supernatant, Plasma
Detection method: Colorimetric
Assay type: Sandwich (quantitative)
Reacts with: Human
